The Original

FluxJet 2. Precision meets reliability.

The FluxJet 2 is a high-precision nozzle for the contactless application of low-viscosity media – with pinpoint accuracy, reproducibility, and reliability. It is particularly suitable for fluxing in electronics manufacturing, for marking, or for industrial applications with high demands on dosing accuracy.

How can the FluxJet 2 support your application? Let's talk.

How does FluxJet 2 work?

The nozzle has an integrated valve that is controlled by a solenoid coil. The media is applied under pressure – contact-free and finely dosed. The nozzle body is made of extremely wear-resistant sapphire and enables precise drop application on an alcohol or water basis.

FAQ about the FluxJet 2

A jet stream can be assessed according to the following criteria:

  • Beam range: How far does the beam reach with sufficient quality?
  • Accuracy: How large is the angular deviation of the beam?
  • Fan out: From what beam distance and how strongly does the beam fan out?
  • Drop size: How big are the drops?
  • Drop consistency: Many small drops or one large drop
  • Shot volume: How much liquid is sprayed per shot

The spray quality depends on the geometry of the nozzle valve, the settings, and the environmental conditions:

  • Frequency, duty cycle, pressure, voltage, control
  • Geometry: nozzle stone, nozzle seal, relative distances
  • Environment: Temperature of the FluxJet 2 and the medium, air circulation
The FluxJet 2 can be used in any installation position (vertical, horizontal, or inclined). Please note the installation space required for the cable connection.

In the event of a malfunction, the nozzle is often dirty. This can be remedied yourself with a little technical knowledge. Ask for instructions. For more serious problems, we recommend having the device adjusted at a service center.

Standard: Stainless steel (1.4305) with Viton seals.
Optional: Grade 5 titanium with Viton seals.

The FluxJet was developed by Wedotec in 2002. Since then, thousands of devices have been put into use.

Yes. Customs duties may apply.

Spare parts are available for almost all FluxJets manufactured in the last 20 years.

During longer periods of downtime, blow out the Flux-Jet with compressed air at a maximum pressure of 2 bar and store in a dry place.
